You send a scan or photo of the document(s) in advance where possible. I review them for completeness and suitability, and advise what you must bring to the appointment – usually identification, proof of address, and any supporting paperwork.
Identity verification and due diligence
At the appointment, I verify your identity and carry out checks required under notarial practice standards. This typically includes confirming your name, address, and, where relevant, your authority to sign on behalf of a company or another person.
Capacity, understanding, and willingness

Execution of the document
You sign in my presence, following any required formalities. I then complete the notarial certificate, apply the notarial seal and signature, and prepare any certified copies as needed.
